I prefer stars
to diamonds
any day.
Luckily tears dont
turn to pearls.
Cause Id be rich,
and youd be
Jealous.
Jealous that youre
Nothing, no-one
No-where, now
Now that I am
Moving on, and
making out
What I want.
And holding hands
means more than
locking lips and
leaving love
behind.
Means love;
love and affection,
not rejection.
That was cold.
You made a
promise...
to a pessimist,
Thats dangerous.

Wow, you got a pick-axe? I wish I had a pick-axe!
I think they're anything BUT love.
But I am glad you enjoy them.

I like your interpretation, I was kind of going for something vague, so I'm glad you found meaning in it.
The first stanza was originally a comment for a poem by
I'll give you my interpretation of my words if you'd like, or we can leave it as the poem the way you've read it.
Consider the lines about how much I enjoy holding hands when thinking about the first stanza.
Thanks again
